Detergent & Cleaning

Detergent and cleaning product analyses are laboratory tests performed to evaluate the chemical composition, effectiveness, safety, and environmental compliance of these products. The purpose is to ensure both consumer safety and product performance.

These analyses are generally classified under the following categories:

Chemical Analyses

  • Determination of the active ingredients and additives present in the product.
  • Measurement of parameters such as pH, hardness, phosphate, and surfactant content.
  • Control of prohibited or restricted substances (e.g., heavy metals, formaldehyde).

Microbiological Analyses

  • Evaluation of bacterial, yeast, and mold contamination in water-based products.
  • Particularly important for products with a long shelf life.

Physical and Technological Analyses

  • Evaluation of the product’s color, consistency, density, foaming performance, and solubility.
  • Assessment of compatibility with packaging and storage conditions.

Performance Tests

  • Measurement of the soil and stain removal performance, surface cleaning efficiency, and hygiene performance of cleaning products.
